Jerkass Hero! is a solo-RPG where you play the role of a flawed protagonist. ... On a second thought, let's say that you watch from a safe distance the adventures of the protagonist: this person probably isn't one you would want to identify with, at any rate.

Based on a 2d6 'roll-under system where you want to roll-over' (it makes sense on context) where the PC flaws are the ones that make them fail, success, or a mix, this game includes...

• A step-by-step game loop that lets you play an Episode of a Series, in the search of a Goal. Yes, those words are capitalized, so they're important game terms. 
• Loads of Oracles that help you tell stories full of jerkitude, karmic punishment and, maybe, even some redemption! 
• Loads of additional protagonist archetypes (many of them even including variations on the same theme) to choose from as alternative to the eponymous Jerkass Hero. You’ll find, thus, not just Sterling Archer and Zapp Brannigan levels of flawed…but also Rick Sanchez, Cersei Lannister, Heathcliff (both the cat and the jerk by Emily Brontë), Suzumiya Haruri, and Makoto Itou levels…just to name a few!
• 7 game examples with additional Oracles and guidelines. Play as a Superspy, a Federation Spaceship Captain, a Mischievous Cat (or Dumb Dog), a Wacky Scientist, a Beleaguered Office Worker,or a Japanese High-Schooler (at home, or after being Isekai’ed)! 

The Add-on Going Against the Flow, in turn, adds loads of new material for your flawed protagonist series...but, also for heroic & tragic ones! With some room for a bit on philosophy, too, of the kind that teach you how to punch people in the face in your quest of enlightenment and stuff. In this Add-on, thus, you'll find...

• Three new games modes that change the way of playing the base game: Heroic Heroism (the heroic one), One Coin, Two Faces (the tragic one), and Enlightened Badassery (the philosophical one).
